Job Title: Childcare Practitioner (Level 3, or above Qualified)
Location: North Cardiff
Salary: Circa £12,168 per annum
Hours: 18 hours per week (with occasional opportunity for additional hours to cover annual leave/sickness). Monday–Friday, between 07:30–18:00
Blue Door is an established, reputable childcare provider looking for a passionate and qualified Childcare Practitioner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact on children's lives in a supportive, professional environment.
Essential Requirements:
* Childcare Learning and Development (CCLPD) minimum Level 3 (applications without this qualification will not be considered)
* Experience or interest in working with children aged 0–3 years
* Ability to plan engaging activities and make thoughtful observations
* Strong communication skills and a team player attitude
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and support to children in a childcare setting, ensuring their safety and well-being.
* Engage in age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to create a positive and supportive environment.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the space.
* Assist in planning and implementing educational programs tailored to children's needs.
* Collaborate with team members to manage daily operations and enhance the overall setting experience.
