About the Role
As the Accounts Assistant Manager / Client Manager, you will take on a varied and engaging role with a blend of client management and technical accounting responsibilities. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from SMEs to owner-managed businesses across a variety of industries.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships, acting as their key point of contact for day-to-day queries and advice.
2. Accounts Preparation: Overseeing and reviewing the preparation of statutory accounts, management accounts, and financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. Team Leadership: Supporting and mentoring junior staff members, reviewing their work, and assisting in their professional development.
4. Tax Compliance: Ensuring the timely and accurate submission of VAT returns, corporation tax computations, and other tax obligations.
5. Business Advisory Services: Providing tailored advice to clients on improving financial performance, cash flow management, and growth strategies.
6. Compliance & Standards: Keeping up to date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring clients remain compliant.
