The Role
Capco is looking for an experienced Investments Operating Model Leader to guide strategic transformation initiatives across Wealth & Asset Management. You’ll work with industry leaders to define and implement change—from trading operations and portfolio management to back-office functions—improving operational resilience, enhancing efficiency, and delivering better outcomes for clients. This is a senior consulting role that combines deep domain knowledge with a passion for innovation and execution.
What You’ll Do
* Lead the design and implementation of investment operating models across front, middle, and back-office functions.
* Support client engagements on product strategy, regulatory transformation, and operational efficiency.
* Drive platform and technology transformation projects, including automation and integration.
* Guide outsourcing assessments and service provider oversight processes.
* Mentor and develop others through thought leadership, coaching, and internal initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
* 10+ years’ experience in investment operations, ideally in a change or transformation role.
* Subject matter expertise in areas such as OMS/EMS, research, portfolio management, or back-office ops.
* Deep understanding of asset and wealth management client needs, systems, and regulatory context.
* Proven ability to lead client engagements and solve complex business problems.
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder influence across business and technology functions.
Bonus Points For
* Experience with operating model design, outsourcing, or anti-financial crime controls.
* Involvement in core platform selection or data flow/business architecture design.
* Interest in business development or experience contributing to proposals.
* Participation in Capco-led initiatives (e.g., thought leadership or recruitment).
* Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Lean Six Sigma, or IMC.
