We are recruiting a Financial Analyst to join the European Headquarters based in Maidenhead / Winnenden (Germany). The successful candidate will primarily support the EMEA Power Tools Division and collaborate with department managers across Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Quality to drive strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
The role requires strong cross-functional collaboration, involving regular interaction with various departments and finance teams across the company.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the monthly closing process, ensuring accurate and timely financial results through active management and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
* Prepare and deliver complex monthly reporting including actuals and year-to-go forecasts with clear insights.
* Analyse and present monthly performance to departmental managers, identify key trends, potential risks and opportunities to support informed decision making.
* Support the annual budgeting process, including planning, reporting and presentation, collaborating with department managers and preparing budget packs.
* Design and develop new financial reports and analytics to enhance visibility, drive profitability and strategic decision making.
* Participate in cross-functional projects, such as internal process optimization, cost-saving initiatives, and control enhancements.
* Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll need
* Professionally Qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
* Strong analytical skills with good understanding of financial KPIs and performance metrics.
* Process-oriented with a logical and inquisitive mind, capable of identifying efficiencies and improvements.
* Proven ability to build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders across functions.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Prior experience in Operations Finance or Manufacturing is highly desirable.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
* Experience with SAP FI/CO modules.
* Background in FMCG or a similar fast-paced, product-driven sector is preferred.
