The Role: We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic French Teacher to deliver high-quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent, ideal for someone with a love of languages and a strong commitment to student progress and engagement. Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging French lessons in line with the national curriculum. Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and interventions where necessary. Encourage a love for language learning through dynamic teaching methods and cultural exploration. Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment that promotes participation and respect. Work collaboratively with the MFL department and contribute to curriculum planning and extracurricular activities. Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Experience: 1–2 years of experience teaching French in a UK secondary school, ideally including KS4 (GCSE). Qualifications: A relevant degree in French or a related field, along with UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Training: Effective classroom management and lesson differentiation. Familiarity with safeguarding policies and procedures. Skills: Excellent communication and organisational abilities, and a passion for language teaching. DBS Check: All applicants must undergo an enhanced DBS check (Child Workforce) prior to working if not already in possession of one registered to the update service.
