You will drive continuous improvement across the Protecting People Committees and Partnerships (Child Protection, Adult Protection, Violence Against Women, Management of Offenders, Suicide Prevention, and Substance Misuse) and member agencies, ensuring the local implementation of best practice approaches at both strategic and operational levels. This post will have a specific portfolio for strategic planning and improvement for violence against women, gendered services and for learning and workforce development across all aspects of public protection.The IndividualYou will have a strong understanding of pathways, outcomes reporting processes, and performance management frameworks for children and adults at risk.
You will bring experience in service development and/or planning, as well as a proven track record of working within multi-disciplinary settings to develop positive partnerships. Experience in managing projects or services is essential.
In addition, you will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality reports. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively are required, alongside excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to lead, advise, assess, and respond to critical situations.
You will have a strong commitment to supporting ongoing effective staff support and development.
You may occasionally be required to work outwith normal working hours.
