Contracts Manager – Heritage Restoration
Location: Aldridge (with site travel)
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 (DOE)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established specialist contractor delivering high-quality heritage restoration and conservation projects across the Midlands and surrounding regions. This is a senior role overseeing up to 10 live projects, ensuring delivery to the highest standards of quality, safety, and conservation excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Manage up to 10 heritage restoration projects from pre-start through to completion
*
Oversee project programmes, budgets, variations, and final accounts
*
Lead and support Site Managers, subcontractors, and direct labour across multiple sites
*
Ensure compliance with conservation best practice, health & safety, and quality standards
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, conservation officers, and supply chain
*
Attend progress meetings and provide regular commercial and programme reporting
*
Contribute to tender reviews, planning, and risk management
Requirements
*
Proven experience as a Contracts Manager (or Senior Project Manager) within heritage restoration, conservation, or traditional construction
*
Strong understanding of traditional materials and techniques (stone, brick, lime, timber, etc.)
*
Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
*
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
*
Confident managing multiple concurrent projects
*
Full UK driving licence
