Job Title: Senior Application Engineer
What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Partnering with customers to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on optical solutions (Ansys Zemax OpticStudio, Ansys Speos and Ansys Lumerical).
2. Delivering technical presentations, demos, and hands-on workshops to showcase product capabilities and value.
3. Providing in-depth technical support throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting, optimization, and integration assistance for Ansys Zemax OpticStudio.
4. Collaborating with internal R&D teams to relay customer feedback and influence product enhancements.
5. Developing and maintaining detailed technical documentation, application notes, and best practice guides.
6. Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to knowledge-sharing initiatives across the organization.
What You’ll Need:
7. MS in Physics/Optical Engineering or related field
8. Strong knowledge in Optical Design
9. Strong proficiency in commercial optical software tool, Ansys Zemax OpticStudio
10. Solid understanding of optimization methods
11. Experience with python
12. Ability to analyse and debug complex technical issues in customer environments.
13. Excellent technical documentation and presentation skills.
14. Experience with other commercial optical software tools ( Ansys Speos, Ansys Lumerical, Code V, LucidShape, Lighttools…) is a plus
