Nurture Teacher – SEN School

A welcoming and supportive SEN school in RH1 is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurture Teacher to join their team as soon as possible.
This is a rewarding opportunity to work with children and young people with a range of additional needs including Autism, SEMH, communication difficulties and associated learning needs. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports both academic progress and emotional wellbeing.
The Role:
* Deliver tailored and engaging lessons to small nurture groups
* Support pupils with SEMH, Autism and additional learning needs
* Build positive relationships that promote confidence, regulation and resilience
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and families
* Implement personalised learning and behaviour support strategies
* Foster a calm, structured and inclusive classroom environment
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
* Have experience working within SEN, nurture or SEMH settings
* Be patient, resilient and adaptable
* Demonstrate strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
* Be passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve their potential
