GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER – GIFTWARE EMEA | REMOTE / HOME BASED
Up to £55,000 basic
Uncapped | £150,000+ achievable
There comes a point in an international giftware career where the job stops being about knowing the market and starts being about navigating the organisation.
If you’ve already built distributor networks, opened territories, sat through enough approval loops and watched commission get diluted, capped or reworked just as momentum builds, this role is aimed squarely at that moment.
This is a senior global account role in a lean, export-led giftware business where decisions are made quickly, deals are done directly and results are rewarded properly.
The remit covers EMEA excluding the UK, US and Asia. Some accounts are established and ready to be pushed harder. Others don’t exist yet and need opening. The split is genuinely balanced between developing what’s there and going after what isn’t.
Most of the work happens remotely via Teams, phone and email. Travel is purposeful rather than performative. Trade shows and partner visits happen when they add value, not because the diary says so.
You’ll report straight into ownership and run your patch like it’s your own.
WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES
You’ll be growing revenue across multiple international markets by working closely with distributors and retailers who already know the category and expect commercial conversations, not hand-holding.
You’ll be opening new doors where the product and proposition make sense, negotiating terms, building momentum and seeing deals through without unnecessary friction.
You’ll be trusted to prioritise markets, push underperforming accounts, challenge status quo relationships and build something meaningful over time.
WHO THIS WILL APPEAL TO
This will resonate with someone who has spent a long time in giftware, understands how the industry really works and is comfortable carrying real responsibility.
You’ll be used to working across borders, managing distributors, dealing with buying teams and making judgement calls without needing a committee.
You won’t need a brand name on the CV to sell for you and you won’t need constant oversight to stay productive. What will matter is judgement, pace and the ability to convert opportunity into revenue.
WHY PEOPLE TAKE THIS ROLE
Because the structure is simple, the territory is real and the upside is meaningful.
Because the business is agile enough to move quickly and small enough for contribution to be visible.
And because earning six figures again feels a lot more motivating when the commission isn’t capped, diluted or re-negotiated halfway through the year.
If you’ve reached the stage in your giftware career where autonomy, pace and reward matter more than hierarchy, this is worth a closer look
