Salary: £29,257

Role Overview

Are you a people person with a passion for property management? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where every day brings a new challenge? If so, we have the perfect role for you! We’re looking for an Assistant Property Manager to join our Specialist Housing - Student & Keyworker team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive exceptional service, helping them feel at home while ensuring our properties are well-managed and compliant. Your responsibilities will include handling tenancy paperwork and liaising with contractors.


Key Responsibilities

* Participate in the accommodation allocation process, including issuing tenancy paperwork, dealing with end of tenancy notices, ensuring properties are ready to let, and collecting advance payments.
* Handle reception duties, greet visitors, answer calls, manage appointments, and provide administrative support.
* Carry out administrative duties such as issuing letters, notices, producing invoices, and responding to enquiries.
* Assist with low-level arrears management to maximize income.
* Report repairs and escalate issues as necessary.
* Monitor contractor performance, liaise with contractors and customers, and maintain records of inspections and testing visits.
* Assist in estate and property inspections, maintain records, and address issues.
* Monitor expenditure against budget, stock use, and work with internal teams on service charge estimates and accounts.
* Support occupants with good housekeeping and fire safety practices.
* Resolve customer queries promptly, liaising with operational teams, customers, and partners.
* Maintain documentation to organizational standards.
* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Represent A2Dominion at meetings and forums when required.
* Produce performance reports and assist in tenancy management objectives.


More About You

* Educated to GSCE level (Grades A*-C) in Math and English or equivalent.
* Experience in front-line customer service.
* Problem-solving skills, especially with vulnerable customers.
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficient in IT, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* Housing experience is desirable but not essential.
* Full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
