Job Description
Finance Manager duties include;
3. Oversee the financial operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.
4. Manage and develop a small Finance Team, setting their objectives, and overseeing all day-to-day activities
5. Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning activities.
6. Responsible for preparing the month-end processes ensuring costs and income suitably accrued, prepaid, or deferred as appropriate
7. Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide strategic recommendations.
8. Managing and continually improving departmental reporting and analysis, working with managers to understand the results and drive improvement.
9. Develop a strong working relationship with the key stakeholders of the businesses as well as a commercial understanding of the businesses, playing a key role in improving financial performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager should have:
10. Fully Qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
11. Previous people management experience
12. Proficiency in financial management systems and tools.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team.
15. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
