Managing Quantity Surveyor, ChesterfieldThe Company An opportunity has arisen for a Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a chartered consultancy in Chesterfield, providing Quantity Surveying support services to some of the UKs leading construction companies. They work largely on the contractor side, delivering refurbishment and infrastructure works across real estate, MOD, MOJ and wider public sector estates. The role is based in Chesterfield with regular site visits across the region. The Managing Quantity Surveyor will oversee commercial delivery across multiple live schemes, support the wider commercial team and act as a senior point of contact for clients.Day-to-day responsibilities include leading cost management, valuations, variations, reporting, procurement strategy, commercial governance and mentoring Quantity Surveyors within the team. The role offers exposure to a diverse workload and the opportunity to take ownership of commercial performance across a portfolio of refurbishment projects.High-level security clearance may be required for some projects.
