Were now seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to join our leadership team someone who thrives in an energetic, quality-driven environment and wants to play a key role in the restaurants continued success.
The Role As Assistant General Manager, youll work alongside the General Manager to oversee daily operations, motivate the team, and maintain exceptional guest experiences from start to finish. Youll balance hands-on service with strategic input, ensuring smooth performance and a consistently high standard.
Key responsibilities:
Support the GM in managing all aspects of daily operations.
Lead, coach, and inspire the front-of-house team with a focus on training and growth.
Maintain excellent service standards and guest satisfaction at all times.
Oversee reservations, guest relations, and floor management during busy services.
Assist with financial management, cost control, and labour budgets.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.
Collaborate closely with the kitchen to deliver a seamless dining experience.
About You Proven experience as an AGM, Senior Restaurant Manager, or similar in a quality restaurant environment.
Passionate about modern British cuisine and thoughtful hospitality.
A confident leader with strong communication and organisational skills.
Proactive, commercially aware, and calm under pressure.
Familiar with reservation and POS systems such as SevenRooms, ResDiary, or OpenTable.
