About the Role / Role Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons within a Key Stage 1 classroom. You will be expected to provide a supportive and stimulating learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of your pupils, helping them reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to meet the needs of KS1 learners. Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes curiosity, confidence, and independence. Monitor and assess pupil progress, using data to inform planning and differentiation. Promote positive behaviour and manage the classroom effectively. Establish strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents. Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to support the learning journey. Follow school policies, including safeguarding and behaviour management procedures. Job Requirements: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Experience teaching within Key Stage 1, with a strong understanding of the curriculum. Ability to inspire and motivate young learners through creative teaching methods. Strong classroom management skills and a proactive attitude. Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of all pupils. Have an updated CV ( covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps ) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one). Why Join GSL Education?
