Your Impact
Our Playmakers help the Manchester City Events department to deliver match day entertainment across the Etihad Campus. They are the first people that our fans engage with as they arrive at matches across the Etihad Stadium, Joie Stadium and at the MCFC Kids Fanzone. They are critical in our drive to deliver excellence across our fan experience.
As a Playmaker, you will be working in sports-entertainment at the highest level – it is hands-on and fast-paced with an emphasis on customer service. You will be surrounded by a large and friendly team of experienced playmakers who will guide and assist you throughout your shift, while you experience a host of match day and non-match day events that MCFC delivers.
Responsibilities
* To support in the delivery of match day entertainment / fan engagement at Manchester City.
* To welcome fans to MCFC and improve the club’s engagement with supporters.
* Follow assigned briefs, tasks, and instructions to engage with fans.
* Assist on a safe set-up, delivery and de-rig for match day activations and club events.
* Safely deliver activations and count interactions with supporters, providing personal and fan feedback at the end of each shift for the post-match report.
* Assist supporters with directions around the stadium providing friendly, clear instructions.
* To ensure your roles on match days and during events are delivered to the highest standard with a welcoming, helpful, and enthusiastic approach.
