GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 at a welcoming school in Doncaster. Starting this September, this role is perfect for someone who enjoys working closely with children and helping them grow academically and socially.
Role Overview:
As a KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant, you ll support classroom teachers by helping pupils with their learning and development. You ll assist with lesson activities, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment for children.
Responsibilities as Teaching Assistant:
* Provide in-class support across KS1 and KS2.
* Assist pupils with varying needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.
* Support teaching staff with lesson delivery and classroom management.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and focused learning environment.
* Help track pupil progress and communicate effectively with staff and parents.
Requirements for TA:
* Experience working in a primary school setting.
* Familiarity with the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable.
* A caring, proactive, and adaptable approach.
* A full CV with any employment gaps explained.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
