Overview
We are recruiting for High Intensity CBT Team Leader / Step 3 Team Leader to join Turning Point's Talking Therapies service in Luton. Total Wellbeing Luton is an integrated Talking Therapies service combining healthy lifestyles and emotional health programmes, provided in partnership with Active Luton. The service provides person-centered, holistic and accessible wellbeing services which are flexible, easy to access and navigate, and responsive to local needs. Flexible working hours include Saturdays and evenings to support clients when they need it most; staff can access and use our digital platform and benefits at Active Luton gyms and community centres.
We offer regular masterclasses to upskill therapists and opportunities to access additional modality training.
Role Responsibilities
* Join our team in Luton, working in and around the district, specializing in evidence-based psychological therapies.
* Lead and manage teams with a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and effective working relationships with colleagues.
* Manage your own caseload and inspire the team to meet service and individual targets (IAPT Supervision Course is helpful but not essential).
* Contribute to offering healthy lifestyle programmes including NHS stop smoking, health checks, exercise on referral, social prescribing, weight management and support with physical activity for people with long-term health conditions.
The Ideal Candidate
* Hold a qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and have BABCP accreditation.
* Extensive experience of working within Mental Health with a proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and colleagues.
* Experience supervising a team in a similar role.
