Title: Mandarin Speaking Conveyancer (Residential & Commercial)

As a Conveyancer, you will be responsible for managing the legal aspects of property transactions from start to finish. You’ll work on both residential and commercial deals, ensuring transactions run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with legal requirements. You will be the go to advisor for clients, estate agents, and other law firms, driving negotiations, preparing key documents, and managing the full lifecycle of each case.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead conveyancing transactions for residential and commercial properties, from instruction through to completion
* Conduct thorough property searches, due diligence, and investigations to identify potential issues
* Prepare and review legal documentation, including contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage agreements, and other relevant instruments
* Negotiate terms with clients, estate agents, lenders, and opposing solicitors to secure favourable outcomes
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients, keeping them updated throughout the process and addressing any queries or concerns
* Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and best practices governing property transactions
* Oversee and manage financial aspects of the transaction, such as client deposits, completion funds, and related disbursements
* Accurately maintain case records, correspondence, and case files for each transaction
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
* A law degree or a relevant qualification in conveyancing or property law
* Previous experience in conveyancing or a closely related legal role
* Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills, with the capacity to protect client interests effectively
* Strong attention to detail and outstanding organisational ability
* Proven experience managing multiple cases simultaneously and meeting tight deadlines
* Proficiency in conveyancing software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
* Must be able to work with both Mandarin and English
