Overview
Plant Engineer role at Kindeva Drug Delivery. This position involves maintenance and engineering support to manufacturing and support areas in a GMP-regulated environment, focusing on equipment reliability, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance activities as scheduled by the plant engineering supervisor.
* Provide technical support and respond to emergency maintenance requests from external groups.
* Be the responsible person for assigned legislative documents.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide a general maintenance engineering service to manufacturing and support areas.
* Provide planned and emergency maintenance support for site utilities and manufacturing (breakdown resolution, fault finding, planned and preventative maintenance).
* Ensure all engineering activities are carried out to the necessary standard, complying with safety, cGMP, and company requirements.
* Execute specific assigned projects and balance workload against priorities as required.
* Keep abreast of technological innovation and evolving regulatory standards.
* Assist in ongoing development of the site CMMS system.
* Training and development of engineering apprentices.
* Ability to work to the 5S principles within the workspace.
Skills & Experience
* 3+ years’ maintenance experience with knowledge of Mechanical, Pneumatic & Electrical systems in a GMP-regulated environment.
* Time-served apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multiskilled Engineering.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety Standards, Manufacturing Plant, Maintenance Engineering, fault finding, site utilities, and control systems.
* Understanding of maintenance practices including planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance.
* Good understanding of GMP standards.
* Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Additional Information
Working Hours: Onsite – working across a 3-shift pattern requiring days and nights.
Location: Derby Road, Loughborough
