Project Administrator - Gateshead
Office Angels are excited to recruit a Project Administrator to join a well-established company based in Gateshead. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing team, supporting senior staff and Project Managers across a variety of projects with full administrative responsibilities.
You'll be joining a small, close-knit team of high achievers who are committed to supporting your development. To thrive in this role, you'll need excellent organisational skills, a strong work ethic, and a structured, methodical approach to your work.

Role Details
1. Location: Gateshead, free on-site parking
2. Salary: Circa £30, (negotiable depending on experience)
3. Contract: Permanent
4. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, generally
5. Office based, although possible scope for hybrid, depending on business needs
6. Holidays: 23 days (3 reserved for Christmas closure) + bank holidays
Key Responsibilities
As the office's central point of support, you will handle a variety of administrative and project-related tasks, including:
7. Supporting the project and field sales teams throughout project lifecycles
8. Handling client queries and service calls, liaising with suppliers and service providers
9. Sales order processing: raising purchase orders, acknowledgements, and client invoices
10. Job costing: adding supplier invoices to cost sheets and liaising with Project Managers
11. Preparing estimates using Excel and AQ (industry-specific software), initially for individual items and progressing to full project estimates
12. Managing deliveries and stock movements
13. General administrative support
Key Skills & Attributes
14. Previous experience in project coordination, administration, or technical support within construction, engineering, design, or interior design is highly desirable
15. Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
16. Strong numeracy and literacy
17. Proficiency in Excel and MS Office
18. Highly organised with a structured and methodical approach
19. Strong problem-solving skills
20. Previous experience in CAD/Design is advantageous but not essential
