About LMH Oxford Summer Programmes LMH Oxford Summer Programmes are intensive academic and cultural experiences for international students, blending Oxford-style tutorials with excursions, social activities, and community living. Students benefit from world-class teaching, small-group learning, and the unique environment of an Oxford college. Programme Dates: Session 1: 28 June – 18 July 2026 Session 2: 19 July – 8 August 2026 Session 3: 9 August – 29 August 2026 Once appointed, Learning Coordinators will need to be available for paid training days in late June. The Role: Learning Coordinator Learning Coordinators play a key role in facilitating the delivery of the academic components of the LMH Oxford Summer Programmes. Working closely with the Academic Director, and academic and administrative staff, Learning Coordinators provide practical support for the smooth-running of academic delivery, offer general study support to students on the Programmes, and act as a point of contact for online students. An ideal candidate may be a graduate student in one of the subject areas offered on the LMH Summer Programmes, have experience in academic student support, and be confident learning basic AV technical skills. At least one Learning Coordinator will have specific academic experience in AI and Machine Learning. In addition, the Learning Coordinators contribute to the smooth delivery of some non-academic aspects of the Programmes, including welcoming students on the arrival day, and accompanying students on day trips. Reporting Lines This role reports to the Academic Director and the Commercial Operations Manager. Key Responsibilities Academic Support & Coordination Support scheduling of tutorials and seminars Ensure all online teaching links, timetables, and calendars are accurate and up to date Maintain consistent communication with tutors and students regarding academic logistics Relay questions to speakers from remote students during live-streamed hybrid lectures Offer general ‘drop-in’ support to students working on their tutorial assignments. Technical & Platform Management Troubleshoot basic technical issues for students or tutors during live sessions Liaise with AV team if advanced technical issues arise Ensure sessions are recorded and uploaded securely when appropriate Student Engagement & Support Act as the first point of contact for students needing academic assistance Collect feedback and flag welfare or engagement issues to the SAP team Quality Assurance & Admin Monitor attendance and participation in classes Gather feedback from tutors and students to help improve delivery Maintain digital records and provide wrap-up reports at the end of the programme Wider Programme Support Join the wider Student Support Team in welcoming students and helping them to check into College on the arrival days, and accompanying students on their day trips away from Oxford. Person Specification Essential Strong organisational and administrative skills Excellent digital literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Teams Strong written and verbal communication skills A proactive problem-solver with a calm, professional manner Able to work independently and manage time efficiently Right to work in the UK Desirable Experience delivering or supporting online learning or academic events Experience in a higher education or learning support environment Familiarity with international student needs and time zone coordination Understanding of the Oxford academic structure and tutorial system Knowledge of safeguarding and data protection best practices Experience of coding with Python, and of AI and Machine Learning in an academic setting. Terms and Conditions Hours & Availability Working hours are expected to be around 40 hours per week, including some evening and weekend work. Academic Support will be Paid training in late June (dates TBC) Benefits Pay: £15.76 per hour (base salary plus holiday pay) Accommodation & Meals: This is a residential role, and onsite accommodation is provided. Meals are provided on duty.
