Working Hours
The shift pattern for this post is Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4:30pm.
Role Summary
The West Dunbartonshire Older Adults Community Mental Health Team (OACMHT) are looking to recruit a band 5 Community Mental Health Nurse. As part of the OACMHT, the post holder will manage a caseload providing comprehensive and holistic assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of health and social care needs for older adults with a variety of often complex mental health and social care issues.
Responsibilities
 * Deliver compassionate care in partnership with patients, carers and other professionals/agencies in line with legislative frameworks, agreed standards and clinical policies.
 * Work in a variety of home / near to home community environments.
 * Work without direct supervision and support more junior nursing staff and nursing students.
 * Provide caseload line management supervision, clinical supervision and undertake line management responsibilities.
 * Participate in regular caseload line management and clinical supervision.
 * Supervise the practice of others, undertake mentorship/preceptorship responsibilities and contribute to the learning and development of the staff team.
