POST: Learning Support Worker LOCATION: West Bromwich Collegiate Academy GRADE: Band D SCP 9 – 17 SALARY: £27,255 - £31,022 per annum (pro rata salary £24,319 - £27,681) HOURS: 37 Hours, term time plus 1 week West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is an oversubscribed Secondary School in the Black Country. The Academy opened its doors in September 2019 with 175 students and has continued to grow each year. It is now at full capacity with 805 students on roll. Recently graded by Ofsted as outstanding in 3 categories and extremely close to outstanding in the 4th, West Bromwich Collegiate Academy is committed to an inclusive education for all students at every ability level, and equipping students for the future through teaching them relevant and cutting-edge skills for the era in which they live. Key Responsibilities: To teach small groups of students supporting their SEN requirements. To tutor individual students. Support students’ learning across the curriculum, tailoring support to match the students’ needs. To promote inclusion and contribute to the successful induction of new students to the Academy.
