We would like to invite you to join our Mental Health Occupational Therapy Service in Fife. Our dedicated team of Occupational Therapists and healthcare support workers work with people in Fife aged 18 years and over who are experiencing mental health problems. They provide clinical expertise in a range of specialities – adult, older adult, rehabilitation and forensic – both in inpatient settings and the community. We require the delivery of highly effective clinical input across all areas, following best evidence‑based practice in line with local, national and professional standards.
Responsibilities
* Clinical Expertise: Providing advanced specialist knowledge and advice
* Clinical Governance: Leading clinical audits, risk assessments, and ensuring adherence to evidence‑based practice
* Service Development: Driving improvements in clinical pathways, protocols, and patient care standards
* Education & Training: Supporting staff development through teaching, mentoring, and competency assessments
* Research & Innovation: Leading or contributing to research projects and implementing best practice guidelines
* Quality Assurance: Monitoring clinical outcomes and leading quality improvement initiatives
* Professional Leadership: Acting as a role model for clinical excellence and influencing practice across teams
