DESCRIPTION: Join our Legal team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Contracts Specialist and contribute to our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll provide legal support for commercial contracting activities across our organization, reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a wide range of agreements. Working closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, Product Development, Sales, IP, and Procurement, you'll help drive contract standardization and process improvements while ensuring compliance with corporate policies. REQUIREMENTS: • Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience, in contract negotiation and drafting in a commercial or legal environment • Preferred Fields of Study: Business, Legal Studies, or related field • IACCM or NCMA certification preferred • Paralegal certification advantageous • Strong working knowledge of contract law and commercial terms • Experience with government contracting and compliance preferred • Advanced proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office suite • Excellent analytical and risk assessment capabilities • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities • Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across organizations • Fluency in English required; additional language skills advantageous • Experience with contract automation and process improvement initiatives • Ability to work independently while contributing to team objectives • Travel may be required
