About The Role
In your role as a Home Administrator at HC-One, you’ll have one quality that truly sets you apart from your peers: unparalleled kindness. Kindness will guide every aspect of your work in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care home. Everyone who works here understands that our Residents are people just like them with their own stories to tell. By joining HC-One you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Please note this role is to cover maternity leave and is full-time 40 hours per week.
As a Home Administrator, you will manage administrative systems and processes to help our Home Manager effectively run services. This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, administering the Time & Attendance system, and processing payroll and HR information — always with Resident wellbeing in mind.
We are looking for someone with an IT and Administration qualification, such as ECDL, and experience in admin or secretarial support in a busy office. You should have strong Microsoft Office skills, good time management, and organisational abilities. Beyond technical skills, your positive energy and ability to get along with people are essential. You will communicate considerately and kindly with Residents and colleagues alike.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. It’s important that you can recognise signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know what actions to take. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional related training. You should be able to seek advice and report concerns appropriately, escalating issues if necessary.
We’ll provide full training, making this a great opportunity to learn new skills. In return, you will enjoy a wide range of benefits supporting your physical and psychological well-being, including:
* Paid Enhanced DBS/PVG
* Free uniform
* Hourly rate subject to experience and qualifications
* Nutritious meal during shifts of eight hours or more
* Company pension scheme
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Group life assurance
* Wagestream for financial wellbeing and flexible pay access
* Learning and development opportunities with support for qualifications
* GP online service for round-the-clock consultations
* Colleague discounts at over 1600 high street stores
* Confidential Employee Assistance Programme for support on various issues
* Recognition schemes like ‘Kindness in Care’ and Long Service Awards
* Refer a friend scheme offering up to £1000 per referral
We aim for a quick turnaround from offer to start date. We are committed to inclusive practices, inviting applicants from all backgrounds to join our HC-One family.
