A highly regarded specialist architectural practice is looking to appoint a Senior Architect to join its growing team in the East Midlands.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Architect to take ownership of bespoke residential projects within a niche and rewarding sector. The practice operates nationally and has developed a strong reputation for delivering tailored design solutions on technically challenging schemes.
The successful candidate will become a key part of a collaborative and supportive team, working across a range of residential adaptation, refurbishment and new-build projects.
The Role
* Lead and manage projects from concept through to completion
* Oversee project quality and technical delivery
* Liaise confidently with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities
* Support and mentor junior team members
* Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
* Produce high-quality technical drawing packages and specifications
* Attend site visits and client meetings nationally as required
Requirements
* Qualified Architect with significant post-Part III experience
* Proven experience leading projects and managing teams
* Strong residential design and technical detailing ability
* Thorough understanding of UK Building Regulations
* Knowledge of accessible design principles advantageous
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills
* AutoCAD experience essential
* NBS specification knowledge beneficial
* Contract administration experience advantageous
