Position : Registered Manager
Location : Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Salary : £50,000 per annum
Bonuses : £5,000 Welcome Bonus + 21% Annual Bonus
Annual Leave : 32 days (inclusive of Bank Holidays)

About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group, a specialist agency with extensive expertise in recruiting for children's residential homes, is proud to represent our client in their search for a talented and dedicated Registered Manager. This role is based at a well-regarded, Ofsted-rated "Good" children's home in Wisbech, registered for up to 6 children. Supported by two highly experienced Deputy Managers, you will lead a committed team to deliver outstanding care, ensuring a safe, nurturing environment that promotes independence, dignity, and well-being for every child. Key Responsibilities
Oversee the delivery of high-quality care, ensuring children's progress is outstanding and the home maintains or exceeds its "Good" Ofsted rating.
Manage all aspects of the home's operations, including strategic planning, service development, and day-to-day management.
Lead a team of professionals, including two experienced Deputy Managers, to provide therapeutic care tailored to each child's needs, fostering recovery, growth, and positive outcomes.
Act as a positive role model for staff and children, building trusting relationships to meet everyday living needs.
Mentor staff, organise work patterns, facilitate QCF Level 3 training, and conduct performance reviews and appraisals.
Manage budgets and financial performance to ensure efficient operation of the home.
Ensure robust safeguarding practices and compliance with legislation, including The Children Act 1989 and Children's Homes Regulations.
Promote the protection, well-being, and development of children and young people.
Candidate Requirements
Essential : Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar environment at a senior level.
Essential : Level 3 or 4 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce.
Essential : Achieved or working towards Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (Children and Young People's Management).
Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, including The Children Act 1989, Children's Homes Regulations, and safeguarding procedures.
Proven experience in budget and financial management.
Highly driven, proactive, and enthusiastic leader with a hands-on approach to people management.
Fully committed to achieving the best outcomes for children.
Essential : Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Flexibility to undertake on-call duties as required.
