We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Payroll Coordinator, working closely with the Payroll Director to deliver an accurate and timely monthly payroll. In this key role, you'll play an essential part in supporting the Payroll Department, helping to ensure the smooth processing of payroll for over 2,700 employees and contributing to a seamless colleague experience across the organisation.
Hours: Monday-Friday 8.30am-5.30pm
Location: Teddington - Office Based full time
Salary: £35-£38k based on experience
Key Responsibilities
Processing of employee salary changes.
Processing starters and leavers.
Processing statutory leave payments.
Collating monthly timesheets.
Calculating monthly commissions.
Gathering and updating data for P11Ds and Directors Benefits.
Processing expenses.
Maintaining accurate employee information.
Maintaining data continuity between HR and Payroll systems.
Liaising with HR regarding payroll queries.
Assist with the production of monthly payroll analysis.
Maintaining employee confidence and protecting payroll operations by keeping information
confidential.
Assisting with running payroll from beginning to end.
Qualifications & Experience
Payroll experience is essential.
Due to the volume of data handled, strong excel skills are essential.
Outstanding attention to detail and high standard of accuracy, numeracy and literacy.
Confident, with excellent communication skills.
Target and deadline orientated, able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive approach to work with a flexible approach to work particularly during busy periods.
Ability to maintain confidentiality in all dealings and correspondence.
