Roles and Responsibilities:
* Part of the maintenance and continuous improvement team, acting as the main engineering contact for production staff.
* Communicates effectively across teams, ensuring smooth coordination while maintaining productivity through planned maintenance and timely repairs.
* Responds quickly to breakdowns, carrying out fault diagnosis and implementing long:term fixes to prevent repeat issues.
* Supports safety and operational standards by conducting risk assessments, training colleagues, assisting with new equipment installations, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Requirements
* Timeserved engineering apprenticeship (electrical)
* Ability to read engineering drawings
* Experienced working within an FMCG environment.
* Experience of PPM and reactive maintenance.
