MacGregor Black is partnering with a high-growth consumer brand to appoint an Interim Head of Marketing & Digital Growth. This is a critical role focused on continuity, commercial performance, and calm, steady leadership across a multi-channel marketing function.
Reporting into the senior leadership team, you will guide the marketing organisation through a key period while maintaining momentum and a strong operational rhythm across digital, brand, and ecommerce touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
* Own weekly trading performance across DTC and marketplaces, ensuring clear priorities and efficient execution.
* Support improvements in ROAS, ACOS, CAC and paid performance through disciplined weekly optimisation.
* Maintain momentum across Meta, Google Ads, TikTok Shop and Amazon, ensuring strong content, merchandising quality, and channel hygiene.
* Drive incremental improvements to onsite conversion and CRO in collaboration with Ecommerce & Product teams.
* Ensure consistent, benefits-led brand storytelling across all customer touchpoints.
* Oversee delivery of campaigns, creative workflows, and content for paid, social, CRM and marketplace channels.
* Maintain UGC, influencer and creator pipelines to support performance channels and key trading moments.
* Provide direction on brand guardianship without redefining the long-term strategy (unless clearly required).
* Provide clear, steady leadership to a multi-disciplinary team across brand, digital, CRM, creative, social and marketplaces.
* Support ongoing hiring and onboarding for in-progress roles.
* Strengthen team clarity, accountability and week-to-week cadence during the maternity cover period.
* Work closely with Finance, Operations, Product and Customer Service to align messaging, demand planning and trading priorities.
* Maintain strong forecasting communication with Finance and senior leadership.
* Improve visibility of KPIs, reporting clarity and operational processes where needed.
* Ensure agencies and external partners are aligned, briefed and delivering against expectations.
What We’re Looking For
* An experienced marketing leader with a background in DTC consumer brands, ideally product-led.
* Strong understanding of performance marketing, CRM, social, UGC, marketplaces and the interplay between creative and performance.
* Commercially minded, with experience influencing GMV, acquisition costs and trading efficiency.
* A structured operator who thrives on pace, clarity and organisation – especially during periods of transition.
* Comfortable balancing hands-on execution with team leadership, particularly in the first months.
* A confident communicator who can simplify complexity and keep teams aligned and moving.
* Experience with TikTok Shop and Amazon is highly advantageous.
