We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Advisor to join our busy team of sales and admin professionals in our Aggregates division. You’ll be working a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, from morning to afternoon and will be based at our Maltby office.
What’s the role?
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers via telephone or email, ensuring they receive a world-class customer experience while representing the Marshalls brand with pride. Your responsibilities include responding to customer queries, processing orders efficiently, recognizing sales opportunities, and maximizing margins.
The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, liaising with internal and external stakeholders including sales teams, customers, and hauliers. You will develop strong relationships with customers and hauliers to ensure repeat business, while also helping organize third-party haulage and working with our weighbridge team to schedule deliveries. Providing holiday cover as needed is also part of the role.

What skills do you need to bring with you?
* Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred, but full training will be provided.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
* Ability to develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics AX is an advantage.
