Job Title: Patient Booker
Location: Bromley
Pay Rate: £13 - £14 per hour
Hours: 16-25 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Duration: Temporary (minimum 2 months, with potential to extend)

Key Responsibilities
Process Referrals: Review and assess patient referrals to ensure suitability for appointments within clinical units.
Book Appointments: Schedule patient appointments and ensure they have all relevant information and medication details.
Follow-Up Communication: Send timely correspondence to keep patients informed and engaged.
Manage Changes: Handle appointment cancellations or rescheduling with efficiency and empathy.
Maintain Records: Keep patient correspondence and contact details accurate and up to date in line with data management procedures.
Prepare Documentation: Assist in preparing patient notes and health information for upcoming appointments.
Report Outcomes: Record appointment outcomes accurately to support follow-up clinical actions.
Support Audits: Contribute to audit processes, reviewing patient outcome data and maintaining medical supplies.
Enhance Care Delivery: Play an active role in improving patient experience and supporting the organisation's commitment to quality care.
Skills & Requirements
Previous experience in patient appointment booking or a similar administrative role within healthcare.
An up-to-date Basic DBS certificate (or willingness to undergo one).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
