About the Client
Our client is an established technology organisation that delivers secure, resilient and highly configurable infrastructure solutions to a wide range of customers. They are continuing to invest in their technical capability and are now looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to support continued growth and deliver high quality infrastructure services.

The Infrastructure Engineer Role
As the Infrastructure Engineer, you will design, implement and support core IT infrastructure across physical and virtual environments. The role includes delivering infrastructure projects, troubleshooting technical issues, enhancing system reliability and maintaining robust documentation. You will work both independently and as part of a wider technical team, contributing to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
* Strong background in system administration and infrastructure support
* Networking expertise across vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, HP or Dell
* Understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP
* Virtualisation experience (VMware or Hyper V)
* Scripting or automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Ansible or similar
* Knowledge of backup technologies such as Veeam or NetBackup
* Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
