In this role you will… Lead, architect, and build everything from cloud-first applications and services to AI-enabled tools for mission-critical systems, highly distributed microservices, and event-driven architectures. Integrate emerging technologies such as AI driven development/automation and web components into our Tax technology offering. Use your Full Stack programming skills to take ownership and build common services, libraries, reusable components, REST APIs, Messaging solutions and wider applications. Mentor engineers and contribute to our software ecosystem blueprint. Collaborate with product owners and engineering leads to accelerate delivery in a Scaled SCRUM framework across multiple projects. You will have… Deep Technical Expertise : An inquisitive and creative mindset, with the ability to collaborate effectively with leads, principal engineers, and product owners to design and build our cutting-edge product suite. Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in OO development using languages such as C# or Java, alongside modern front-end frameworks. Cloud Experience: Exposure to building cloud-first applications and services on a continuous delivery platform, with 100% infrastructure as code. A solid understanding of packaging and containerisation. Data Modelling: Ability to work with SQL or NoSQL databases. Continuous Delivery: Demonstrable experience in supporting your application with modern DevSecOps tools. Complying with secure coding and infrastructure standards. Proven ability to communicate, lead and mentor, across multiple teams. You may have… Experience with generative AI, machine learning, or AI-driven development. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless platforms. Experience with React, Angular, Blazor, or ASP.NET MVC. Knowledge of Cosmos DB, MongoDB, Cassandra, or Entity Framework. Exposure to GitHub Copilot, data analytics, and pair/mob programming.
