This is an exciting and diverse role within the Commercial Finance team to work directly with operations, providing financial insight and helping to drive optimal business decisions.
Cygnet was established in 1988. Since then we have developed a wide range of health and social care services for young people and adults with mental health needs, acquired brain injuries, eating disorders, autism and learning disabilities within the UK.
As Senior Commercial Finance Analyst you will partner with key stakeholders in various parts of the organisation, but in particular supporting at a service, regional and departmental level, with the aim of improving service performance.
Additionally you will be integral to the budget setting process; engaging with the operations team to set stretching but realistic targets and supporting management in achieving them.
This role would be ideal for an ambitious individual, who is seeking to progress and develop their career in finance.
Duties and responsibilities include:
1. Interpret financial results and provide insight to key stakeholders.
2. Monitor and challenge weekly KPIs to help the business meet its objectives; track actions and see through to completion.
3. Review site level profitability with a particular focus on staff costs to support the CFM in challenging overspends.
4. Support and help manage the budget setting process.
