About the Role:
You will deliver engaging and well-structured Business Studies and Economics lessons, support students across varying abilities, and cultivate analytical thinking, financial awareness, and critical evaluation skills. You will help create an inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and confident to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* High-Quality Teaching: Deliver lessons in Business Studies and Economics following the school curriculum.
Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, structured, and supportive environment.
* Assessment & Feedback: Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to students.
* Curriculum Development: Contribute to enhancing Business and Economics resources.
* Collaborative Working: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals.
To succeed as a Teacher of Business Studies / Economics, you will need:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification.
* Strong subject knowledge in both Business Studies and Economics.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
* A commitment to inspiring young people and promoting high standards of learning.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
