NEOS Engineering are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee the procurement and deployment of high-spec plant fleet across national projects. With responsibility for over 2,000 units, this role requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to work independantly in a fast-paced environment.
Main Responsibilities: Fleet Procurement & Deployment: Manage the end-to-end procurement process for new high-spec plant equipment, from order through to site delivery.
Process Efficiency: Ensure the timely, cost-effective acquisition and deployment of new equipment and manage the disposal of redundant fleet assets.
OEM Registration: Register all new equipment with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to ensure warranty and compliance.
Telematics & Tracking: Coordinate the installation and removal of telematics, tracking systems, and any project-specific or compliance-related add-ons.
System Management: Maintain accurate records in internal systems, including equipment documentation, supplier performance, warranty details, and maintenance schedules.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all plant operations align with current legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
Product Training: Liaise with OEMs to arrange staff training on new equipment as required.
Essential Requirements: Right to work in the UK
Full UK Driving Licence
Beneficial Skills & Qualifications: Experience in the plant hire or construction industry
Familiarity with fleet telematics systems
