Role Outline Health Partners is one of the UK’s leading providers of occupational health and wellbeing solutions. We are excited to recruit an experienced, friendly, and professional Receptionist to join the team at Heathrow Airport in the Occupational Health department. Acting as the first point of contact for visitors both face-to-face and via telephone, the chosen candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the centre. You will be responsible for managing the reception area, coordinating team diaries, and carrying out various administrative and support duties. This is an excellent opportunity to support the occupational health function for the UK's busiest airport. Key Responsibilities • Managing the reception desk, greeting and signing in visitors attending on-site clinic appointments and client visits. Ensuring visitors are informed of Health and Safety regulations. • Answering all reception calls that come into the department, liaising with different members of staff: transferring to relevant colleagues or departments, or taking messages and emailing them to the appropriate person. • Responding or escalating all emails onto the relevant OH mailbox. • Management of Occupational Health cases including for Heathrow & Heathrow Express • Booking appointments, invoicing, closing cases • Reviewing cases, chasing updates and gathering information • Preparing any GP report requests and chasing updates. • Preparing any Subject Access Record request ready for OH Manager to check and approve. • Preparing any MIC packs received from Unum and sending out to client. • Escalating complex cases, complaints or those that are progressing slowly to relevant colleagues. • General office and administration duties • Ordering of consumables and Stationery. • General admin including the uploading of clinical notes onto cases. • Maintenance of own computer files and emails • Additional administrative duties for clinical staff as and when required • Use of multiple databases and internet systems for recording of stats What we are looking for The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, with prior experience and excellent IT proficiency, including the use of database systems and Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with proficiency in the compilation of spreadsheets. You will also demonstrate great attention to detail, the ability to prioritise a busy schedule. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves regular interaction with clients and health professionals. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels and to maintain discretion when handling confidential medical matters is key. We are looking for someone self-motivated, flexible, and with a keen interest in health and wellbeing, who enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team. Hours This is a full-time, on-site position, where the chosen candidate will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am to 4pm. Location This role is based on-site at Heathrow Airport. Salary The salary for this role is £24,000 per annum.
