Azure Architect – Contract Opportunity
Due to ongoing strategic initiatives and expansion into cloud-first architectures, our Client is seeking an experienced Azure Architect to play a pivotal role in advancing their cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-level Azure cloud solutions that meet business requirements and technical standards.
* Develop comprehensive cloud architecture strategies, ensuring scalability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust cloud solutions.
* Provide hands‑on guidance during the deployment of Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components.
* Establish best practices for cloud security, compliance, and governance.
* Monitor cloud environments for performance, optimise configurations, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
* Document architecture frameworks, standards, and operational procedures for ongoing maintenance and scalability.
* Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or cloud architect with a strong understanding of Azure cloud platform services.
* Advanced knowledge of Azure architecture design principles, security, and compliance standards.
* Hands‑on experience with deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources.
* Familiarity with IaC tools such as ARM templates, Terraform, or similar.
* Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
* Relevant certifications, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
* Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integration with on‑premises infrastructure.
* Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines within Azure.
* Strong understanding of cloud cost optimisation strategies.
