Our client is looking for a Paraplanning Manager to lead a team of Paraplanners.
You will be overseeing and supporting the Paraplanning team, ensuring high-quality, compliant financial advice delivery by managing workflow, mentoring and training paraplanners, and implementing process improvements. Key responsibilities include quality assurance, regulatory compliance, technical support for advisers, team development, and strategic involvement in departmental goals and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Team Management:
* Recruit, train, develop, and mentor paraplanners, monitoring their performance and adherence to company processes.
* Workflow & Resource Allocation:
* Manage and allocate work to the team, ensuring deadlines are met and sufficient technical coverage is available for various report types.
* Quality Assurance:
* Perform first-line checks on the quality of reports, turnaround times, and adherence to internal and external regulations and procedures.
* * Technical Expertise:
* Serve as a point of referral for technical queries, providing expertise to ensure the production of first-class, compliant reports.
* Process Improvement:
* Identify trends, areas for efficiency, and process improvements within the paraplanning department and develop solutions.
* Compliance:
* Ensure all reports and work are compliant with financial regulations, such as those from the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
* Strategic Contribution:
* Collaborate with management to align the team's efforts with company goals, support regional activities, and improve back-office efficiency.
You will need to have previous management experience, be Level 4 qualified, be fully conversant with FCA compliance and have a drivers license.
