Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking Support Workers to join our incredible team in Chelmsford.
As a Support Worker, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will work with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs.
From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you’ll play a vital role in their lives.

Your duties will include supporting them with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, community outings for shopping or activities, and travelling to appointments. There will also be some moving and handling involved.
You will be working with a small, experienced team who have known the residents for years.

* 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time), along with pension and holiday buying options.
* Ongoing training and development opportunities.
* A supportive and inclusive work environment where your contributions are valued.
