DWF are currently seeking an Admin Assistant to join their First Response Unit (FRU) Team on a 12-month fixed term basis.
In this role, you’ll play a key part in the running of our First Response Unit; handling incoming calls, entering essential information into our Case Management System, and providing vital day-to-day administrative support. You’ll work towards clear individual and team targets, helping us deliver an efficient, high-quality service.

This role is hybrid and requires office attendance 2-3 days per week in our newly refurbished Liverpool office.
Responsibilities
* Manage incoming and outgoing telephone enquiries, ensuring efficient handling of live calls
* Process case-related documentation accurately and promptly
* Handle queries relating to both live and closed cases, ensuring all interactions are fully recorded and followed up
* Input incoming documentation into the case management system with accuracy and attention to detail
* Maintain organised and up‑to‑date physical filing systems, ensuring all documents are handled with care
* Prepare and distribute internal and external mail
* Open new physical files and create corresponding records in the case management system
* Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the office
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
* Confident handling of incoming and outgoing telephone enquiries for both live and closed cases
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records
Desirable
* Previous experience managing outgoing telephone enquiries and processing case documentation during live calls
* Familiarity with case management systems or specialist software used to track and support ongoing investigations
