Managing Director, West Midlands, up to £100k + Bonus + Benefits
My client is a Steel Stockholder & Processor, they are actively looking to recruit a proven and commercially driven Managing Director.
Relevant Experience:
* Experience of senior management position with profit and loss responsibility, ideally operating as a Managing Director or General Manager.
* Working in a metal processing or manufacturing industry.
* Experience of development and implementation of business strategies.
* Proven track record of delivering growth.
* Setting and controlling budgets.
* Experience of managing a sales team – setting targets and driving performance.
* Managing customer and supplier relationships.
* Experience of negotiating with customers and suppliers, ideally with large corporate organisations.
* An understanding of managing Health & Safety regulations
* An understanding of manufacturing operations.
Qualifications/ Training:
* Formal management training qualifications.
Special Knowledge:
* Steel Industry is desirable, not essential.
