Purchase Ledger Clerk - 6 Months FTC Retford PIB Group Full time Fixed Term Contract
PIB Group is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our team on a fixed term basis for 6 months. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our finance department, working alongside a team dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our clients.
This role is suitable for a confident individual looking to enter the finance sector. You should be a natural problem solver with high attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. As the business experiences growth, there will be opportunities to participate in various projects.
Location: Near Retford Train Station, with excellent transport links by train, car, or bus. Free parking is available nearby.
The Role
* Use of client broking systems such as Acturis, Websure, SSP, and TAM
* Weekly bank reconciliations across multiple broking systems
* Monthly calculations for Insurer Money and Client Money
* Monthly Paper Bank Reconciliations
* Investigate unallocated and unidentified cash
* Log breaches and assist in Month-End Reporting
* Handle email and telephone queries from the Finance Team and wider business
Experience:
* Proven Excel skills and knowledge
* Keen to learn and progress, passionate about accounts
* Positive attitude and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated, able to meet deadlines under pressure
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently
