đź’° Salary: ÂŁ48,000 per annum + Overtime + On-Call Payment + Tool Allowance

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced HGV Workshop Technician to join our busy workshop, maintaining a fleet of predominantly Mercedes and DAF HGVs, as well as tri-axle trailers. You will be involved in the repair and maintenance of our fleet. This will include completing day-to-day inspections, maintenance, diagnostics and MOT preparation.
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
1. Day-to-day maintenance, servicing, and repair of HGVs and trailers
2. Diagnostic work on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
3. Ensuring vehicles meet all legal and safety standards
4. Working both independently and as part of a team in a well-equipped workshop
5. Work in line with Health & Safety and safe working practices
6. Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation within a timely manner

7. Monday to Friday:
8. Week 1: 06:00 – 14:30
9. Week 2: 12:00 – 20:30
10. Alternate Saturdays: 07:00 – 12:00
11. On-call Rota with additional pay

✅ What We’re Looking For:
17. A recognised qualification in HGV mechanics (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent – preferred)
18. A valid HGV licence – required
19. Strong HGV and trailer knowledge
20. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
21. Reliability, flexibility and a strong work ethic
