An outstanding independent Hotel is seeking a Sous Chef who can assist with the running of the busy kitchen. As Sous Chef you will also be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that the kitchen runs smoothly and that the brigade of chefs are aware of their roles as well as training them to progress their knowledge. You will be able to have input into the menus which are regularly changing.
Requirements:
An experienced Sous Chef, with experience in a quality fresh food property is required for this role. The hotel is a busy banqueting venue, also serving afternoon teas, Sunday lunches and Pizza. An excellent all round knowledge of the kitchen is needed for this role. All chefs should have good organisational skills, able to have the kitchen fully prepped for busy service times in order to ensure that the department runs smoothly.
