Job Title: Facilities Project Manager
Department: Facilities & Engineering
Reports to: Director of Maintenance
FSLA Status: Exempt
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team as a Project Manager. Reporting to the Director, Project Management, this individual will be responsible for managing the development domestic infrastructure for Trulieve product lines in the US. They will be the driving force for converting the company’s strategic goals into action, working across the organization to deliver results. The role will include routine communications with senior leadership and be highly visible. A successful candidate will be solutions-oriented, with a bias for action and a tenacious approach to problem solving.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead projects from the concept stage until completion
2. Manage contractors
3. Will lead new construction and upgrade projects
4. Develop list of punch out items for contractors
5. Lead project meetings and provide updates to all stakeholders
6. Manage end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issue escalation and change management for product lines in US
7. Lead cross-functional teams encompassing infrastructure/facilities, business capabilities and product development
8. Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, serving as liaison between the Project Team, functional managers and corporate leadership
9. Engage external contractors and service providers, developing integrated plans and risk management strategies
10. Organize project risk identification, consulting subject matter experts for accurate assessment. Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate to senior leadership when required
11. Provide routine status updates and coordinating information to the manager
12. Implement and supervise project governance practices established by the Project Team
13. Develop functional specs, machine lists and detailed product list for everything in the facilities.
14. Prepare, maintain and monitor the master project schedule and budget. Resolve issues and escalate roadblocks for prompt resolution. Master project schedule to include construction, staffing, training and ramp-up of facility.
15. Lead project meetings and provide updates to all stakeholders
16. Help coordinate to ensure full compliance with Quality Assurance processes and CGMP/FDA regulations.
17. Manage end-to-end project planning, risk identification, dependency tracking, issue escalation and change management for product lines in US
18. Lead cross-functional teams encompassing infrastructure/facilities, business capabilities and product development
19. Facilitate interdepartmental collaboration, serving as liaison between the Project Team, functional managers and corporate leadership
20. Engage external contractors and service providers, developing integrated plans and risk management strategies
21. Organize project risk identification, consulting subject matter experts for accurate assessment. Develop risk mitigation plans and escalate to senior leadership when required
22. Provide routine status updates and coordinating information to the manager
23. Implement and supervise project governance practices established by the US Project Team
24. Conduct project risk analysis and develop / implement actions to mitigate risks.
25. Ensure rigorous PMI methodology is applied across all projects
26. Ensure full compliance with applicable labor code, environmental regulations and work safety requirements
27. Some travel will be required (30%)
Qualifications
28. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
29. Minimum of 5 years project management experience (bonus points for prior work in highly regulated industry)
30. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Industrial and Commercial construction
31. Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
32. Knowledge of building codes and best practices for construction
33. Must have experience dealing with all trades and a good knowledge of all technical trades
34. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification is a plus
35. High-degree of comfort dealing with ambiguity in fast-moving environments
36. Intense level of intellectual curiosity and creativity in problem solving
37. Demonstrated ability to manage priorities and deliver results in dynamic environment
38. Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability developing materials for senior management
39. Able to understand technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences
40. Extensive knowledge of project governance frameworks and best practices
41. Willing and able to travel to locations throughout the US (< 50% travel required)
42. Experience with project management software and AutoCAD a must.
43. Knowledge of building codes and best practices for construction

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position. This position will work an average of 40 hours per week and will be available “after hours” if an emergency situation should arise.
