Tired of Targets That Don’t Reflect Your Real Value?
If you’re a recruiter who takes pride in building lasting relationships and placing the right people into the right roles — but you’re ready to step away from constant new business pressure — this could be a strong next step.
At ATA Recruitment in Leicester, we’re hiring a Recruitment Consultant to specialise on the candidate side, with a warm desk and established client base in the Maintenance Engineering sector.
The Role and About You
This role suits someone who knows recruitment isn’t just about filling jobs — it’s about guiding people through important career moves, offering insight, and building trust over time.
You’ll be:
Managing live vacancies with active clients — no cold calls, no starting from scratch.
Sourcing and interviewing candidates in the Maintenance Engineering market, where skilled talent is in high demand.
Working alongside an experienced Business Development Manager, who handles the client relationships and brings in the roles.
Providing market insights to clients and supporting account development.
You’ll likely have at least 12 months in a recruitment role, and you’ve discovered that your real strengths lie in the candidate relationship side. You’re organised, communicate well, and want to build a career in recruitment that offers progression without the burnout.
Why ATA Recruitment?
Recruiters often move because they’re looking for more than just commission promises — they want genuine support, clear progression, and a desk where they can succeed. At ATA, that’s what we offer:
A desk with existing PSL agreements and live roles — so you can focus on delivery, not cold business development.
Uncapped commission that pays out fairly and consistently.
Structured career progression — with clear objectives and a track record of consultants stepping into more senior roles.
Collaborative team culture — where knowledge and opportunities are shared, not guarded.
Established name with over 60 years in recruitment — offering stability as well as opportunity.
